Há coisas que uma pessoa até fica parva!!

Uma fulana ficou muito ofendida comigo, porque nos emails que lhe enviei tratei-a pelo nome próprio e não coloquei o Sra. antes do nome dela....

Apesar de o meu discurso ter sido sempre formal, esse pequeno pormenor foi como se tivesse a chamar-lhe nomes...Tanto que foi o suficiente para ela me enviar um email a invocar as normas de ética, respeito e moral...

Será que agi assim tão mal?! º_º

(Re)decorar galochas!!!

Agora que estamos a entrar nos dias chuvosos, que tal dar um toque especial as nossas galochas?

Encontrei este tutorial e achei muito giro!



Materiais:

Galochas Simples na vossa cor preferida | Plain Wellies in the color of your choice

Tesoura | Scissors

Um pouco de fita na cor ou textura preferida | 1 spool of 1.5in ribbon in the color/pattern of your choice

 

1: Primeiro Passo: Medir o comprimento, ate onde a fita deve ser atada.

Measure down the length you want your ribbon to be laced.

 

2: Com a tesoura, cortar a bota ao meio utilizando a distancia anterior para saber ate onde se deve cortar.

 Using scissors, cut right down the center of the boot seam to the length you measured in step one.



3: Corte quatro conjuntos de círculos, dobrando a borracha no meio, e corte em forma de X.

Cut four sets of circles by penciling on the outline, folding the rubber in half, and cutting in an X shape.

4: Cortar a fita, utilizar cerca de meio metro

Cut ribbon, use about 1.5 yards for each boot.



5:  Passar a fita pelo o conjunto final de buracos, tendo a certeza de que as pontas da fita se encontram para dentro.

 Thread through the bottom set of holes, making sure the ribbon is on the inside of the boot.

 

6: Entrelace a fita na maneira que mais gostar de ver e acabe com um laco no topo. Repita no outro par.

Finish lacing the ribbon all the way up y ou likeand then tie into a bow at the top.  Repeat on the other boot.

 E Voila!! Gostam do Resultado?

" A indulgência calórica pode não engordar mais que uma refeição light. Se está provado que o prazer emagrece, quem somos nós para discordar?

Um estudo da Universidade de Yale sugere que a predisposição pessoal poderá influenciar o quão fisicamente satisfeita se sente depois de uma refeição, ou seja, se sentirá necessidade de comer mais.

Para contextualizar, é necessário referir que a grelina, a tão afamada hormona da fome, é a responsável pelo estímulo do apetite e aquela que as dietas gostariam de aniquilar com uma metralhadora. Os níveis de grelina aumentam, tipicamente, antes da refeição, e decrescem depois desta, reduzindo a sensação de fome.

Os sujeitos da pesquisa beberam um batido de 380 calorias, mas enquanto metade do grupo pensava estar a consumir uma indulgência de 620 calorias, a outra metade foi convencida de que a bebida era light, contendo apenas 140.  Os resultados surpreendentes começam aqui: o primeiro grupo verificou uma acentuada descida dos níveis de grelina, enquanto os que pensavam estar a beber um batido magro não sofreram qualquer alteração nos níveis da hormona.

Trocando por miúdos: o grupo que consumiu o batido convencido de que estava a cometer uma indulgência sentiu-se fisicamente satisfeito, enquanto aqueles que pensavam estar a consumir uma bebida magra continuaram com a sensação de fome. Conclui-se, assim, que o cérebro pode ser enganado a sentir-se satisfeito ou com fome, dependendo da predisposição com que encara a comida.

O truque não é acreditar que, se devorar um chocolate sentindo uma culpa dilacerante, os malefícios se vão evaporar misteriosamente. O segredo está em focar-se nos ingredientes mais calóricos e render-se ao prazer que eles proporcionam: como o molho de uma salada, o queijo derretido de uma massa ou o chocolate negro fumegante que envolve os morangos. A ideia de que o peso é uma questão de mentalidade ganha cada vez mais força, andando de mãos dadas com a certeza de que o prazer nunca é demais."

"The caloric indulgence does not make us gain more weight than a light meal. If there is evidence that the pleasure weight loss, who are we to disagree?

A Yale University study suggests that personal bias can influence how you feel physically satisfied after a meal, or feel the need to eat more.For context, it should be noted that ghrelin, the so famous hunger hormone, is responsible for appetite stimulation and that is the one that the diets would like to destroy with a machine gun. Ghrelin levels increase, typically before the meal, and after this decrease, reducing the sensation of hunger.

The research subjects drank one shake with 380 calories, but while half the group thought to be an indulgence of consuming 620 calories, the other half was convinced that the drink was light, with only 140. The surprising results begin here: the first group found a marked decline in ghrelin levels, while those who thought they were drinking a milkshake thin did not change in hormone levels.

Meaning that: the group that consumed the beaten convinced that I was committing an indulgence felt physically satisfied, while those who thought they were to consume a drink lean continued with the feeling of hunger. We conclude, therefore, that the brain can be tricked to feel satisfied or hungry, depending on the predisposition to face the food.

The trick is not to believe that if you eat a chocolate feeling an excruciating guilt, the harm it will mysteriously evaporate. The key is to focus on higher-calorie ingredients and surrender to the pleasure they provide, as a salad dressing, cheese melted chocolate mass or a black smoking that involves the strawberries. The idea that weight is a question of mentality is gaining increasing strength, walking hand in hand with the certainty that pleasure is never enough. "

11 de Setembro...

No próximo domingo, irá fazer 10 anos que aconteceu uma das maiores Castastrofes Mundiais.

Ainda hoje recordo o que senti naquele momento!

A 11 de Setembro de 2001, encontrava-me de férias em Braga.

Tratava-se de o meu último dia de férias e andava pela cidade a passear. Estava a ser uma manhã bem passada, quando já no fim do passeio um amigo nosso telefona e diz: " Nem vais acreditar no que aconteceu! Estava a falar com um colega de Nova Iorque e ele teve que abandonar o edificio porque um avião embateu contra uma das Torres do Worl Center". Pensamos que tinha sido um acidente, ao nosso lado reparámos que estava uma loja com as televisões a passar as imagens do sucedido e ficámos a assistir... Quando de repente vemos em directo o segundo embate....Fiquei a olhar incredula, era impossivel ser apenas um acidente! Durante o resto do dia fiquei ligada às noticias até confirmarem que tinha sido um acto terrorista...à noite quando regressávamos de viagem, pensei: "E agora?! O que é que vai ser do Mundo?! Se os Estados Unidos um País Seguro sofre um Atentado destes, o que será dos outros?!"

Veio-me à cabeça que a Terceira Guerra Mundial iria começar...

E vocês o que sentiram? Lembram-se aonde estavam neste dia?

I Still remember what I felt at that moment!

On September 11, 2001, I was on vacation in Braga.
It was my last vacation day and we went walking around town. It was being a morning well spent, when towards the end of the ride a friend of ours calls and says: "You will not believe what happened! I was talking with a colleague from New York and he had to leave the building because a plane crashed into one of the World Center Towers. " We thought it was an accident, on our side we noticed that a store with televisions getting the images of what happened and we stayed there watching it...  When suddenly we see in Live the second confrontation .... I was shocked, it was impossible to be just an accident! During the rest of the day I turned on the news to confirm what had been a terrorist act ... In the evening on my return trip, I thought, "What now?! What will happend to the world?! If the United States a secure country  was attacked , what will happend to the others? "

It came to my mind that the Third World War would start ...

Today i was reading a magazine and i take a notice on the picture of this house! It kept my attention, because i identify several elements that i had learned through my Academic Journey. Apesar de o nome deste restaurante ser a Rota das Sedas, a comida nada tem de oriental. O nome provêm do espaço prévio, uma fábrica de seda do século XIX. Este espaço transpira Boas energias, Fluidez e Tranquilidade, um bom lugar para se passar bons momentos e nos entrelaçarmos com a Natureza. Claro sem esquecer de Saborear o que de melhor a comida portuguesa tem!  

Although the name of this restaurant is Silk Route, the food has nothing of Oriental Type. The name comes from the previous space, a silk fabric building from XIX Century. This Space exudes Good Vibes, Fluidity and tranquility, a good place to spend some nice moment and to entwine with nature. Of course we cannot forget to flavor the best of what Portuguese food have.

Portanto prescrevo-vos uma receita de visita à Pharmácia, de certo que não se irão arrepender. :)

Adorei esta série, a história e o enredo são muito bons, chorei imenso com algumas cenas...lol. É uma daquelas séries que eu recomendo 100%, Vale mesmo a pena ver!! 

Synopsis: Gun Wook, a very ambicious men, plots revenge against the Haeshin Group, a large corporation to whom Tae Sung is the heir. However there is a twist when he meets Moon Jae In, both fall in love, that leads to a change at his plans... Will Love Win?!

I loved this drama, the plot is very good, i cried a lot in some scenes...lol. Its one of that series that i recommend 100%, You Really have to watch it!!

Ora vamos lá rever a Evolução das Espécies....e que tal se fossemos ao Darwin's Café?! lol

Inaugurado há cerca de 2 meses, na zona de Belém, este restaurante "transpira" design e bom gosto!! Está integrado na Fundação Champalimaud, a sua autoria pertence a Lanidor e tem como chef  António Runa do LA Caffé da Avenida da Liberdade.

Existe uma fusão da Antiga Ciência com a arquitectura contemporânea, os grandes vãos permitem não só a iluminação natural mas também a vista privilegiada sobre o Tejo.

Se o próprio Darwin viesse a este espaço, sentiria-se em casa. E por isso mesmo, é um espaço a disfrutar no Futuro!!

Opened about 2 months ago, in Belem, this restaurant exudes design and good taste! It Makes part of Champalimaud Foundation, its authorship belongs to Lanidor and it has as chef Anthony Rune from LA Caffé Avenida da Liberdade.

Exists a fusion between Ancient Science and Contemporaneous Architecture, the large openings allows not only the natural light but also the prime view over Tejo.

If Darwin himself came to this space, he would feel at home. So it is a place to enjoy in Future!!

Um Café com muito Estilo...Por Favor!!!

 

 

O Meltino Bar & Lounge é o novo Espaço In em Braga. Da autoria do Atelier Loff, teve como conceito a geometrização de um grão de café que esboça a planta e que a divide em 2 espaços. Toda a estrutura foi realizada em madeira tratada de pinho bravo, as paredes e os balcões foram revestidos com paineis de MDF pintados a branco e recortados, proporcionando uma Identidade Unica a este café!

Um lugar a Visitar muito Brevemente!

Meltino Bar & Lounge it's the New In Place at Braga. From Atelier Loff, had as concept the geometrization of the cofffe bean that draws the plan and that divides it in 2 spaces. All the structure was made in treated wood of wild pine, the walls and balcony were coated with MDF panels, painted white and cutted, giving an Unique Identity to this Coffee.

POST It....Everywhere

Post-its fazem parte do nosso quotidiano como um simples papel para anotar um recado ou para não esquecer algo importante....Mas e se fosse possível fazer algo mais com este papel?! E foi o que aconteceu na galeria melissa, em São Paulo, onde 6 fachadas foram revestidas a post-it!!

"A ideia é que cada papelzinho seja um pixel da imagem. Cada fachada ficará quinze dias exposta e, ao final, uma supernovidade será apresentada. Quem não estiver em São Paulo para acompanhar o minucioso trabalho de montagem desses layouts poderá acompanhar vídeos com as trocas da fachada, que serão postados no site e nas redes sociais da marca."

O efeito é espectacular, não concordam?! ;)

Post-its make part of our lifes as a simple paper to write a message or to not forget something important... But what if it was possible to make something more with this paper?! And that was what it happend at melissa galeria, in São Paulo (Brasil), where 6 facades were covered with post-its.

" The idea is that each litle paper is a pixel image. Each facade will be exposed by 15 days and at the end, something new will be presented. Who is not in São Paulo, to follow the rigorous work of this layout montage, can see the videos with the changes of the facade, that will be posted in the site and brand networks."

KDrama Addicted...lol

Hoje quero partilhar convosco uma das minhas grandes devoções lol... Os dramas coreanos!! Não é muito usual assistir-se cá a este tipo de séries, mas tenho vos a dizer que são bastantes ricas quer seja em termos de guião como de cenários, para não falar nos actores que são bastante bons profissionais!! Além disso apresentam sempre as ultimas tendências na Moda, na Tecnologia, no Mundo Automóvel, entre outros mais.

Futuramente irei cá publicar os dramas que estou a assistir no momento ou os que já assisti e que recomendo.

Today i want to share with you one of my biggest additions lol... Korean Dramas!! It's not very usual to watch them here but i have to tell you that they are really good, either on script as in scenarios, not to mention that the actors are really great profissionals!! Beyond that it always shows the latest trends in Fashion, Tecnology, Automobile World, among more.
